We bear a heavy load,
Down a broken road.
And they don’t seem to understand,
Why we keep on trying.
But the best is yet to come.
We know it in our hearts.
So we just keep on pushing toward,
Our one-day perfect home.

They don’t understand why we,
Care to make a stand.
They don’t understand why we,
Lend a helping hand.
They’re blinded by the darkness,
While we hold the light.
Let’s show them the new way,
Give them new sight.
Help them understand.

Sometimes we feel alone,
When our future is unknown.
And they don’t seem to understand,
Why we keep on trusting.
But we’re lifted up by grace.
We’ve found our one true love.
So we just keep on fighting for,
What saves us day by day.

They’re blinded by the darkness,
