Distorted

In a chaotic world, where do the answers lie? Where are we fulfilled? Where can we find the meanings of things we don't understand?

Topsy-turvy, 'round and 'round. Growing dizzy, it's hard to see straight anymore. Nothing is right. Nothing is wrong. Everything has become a pool of gray, covering the surroundings in a thick veil of fog.

People stumble through life without seeing a foot in front of their faces. They guess and take a step, living off of chance alone that they're not stepping off the path. Spun around in so many directions, they can only hope that they're heading the right way. But are they?

Everything is relative. Everything is based on opinions. Nothing really matters. If this is so, why does direction matter?

To one man, a deed may be wrong. To another, it may be right. They may stand at the crossroads for eternity, arguing their points and standing firm in what they believe. But in the end, who is right?

Nothing in this world makes sense. Man has done enough damage that there is no longer a straight path we can make for ourselves. There is no longer a clear sight. There is no longer a right and wrong, originally handed to us by our Maker Himself. Rules have been distorted. Laws have been twisted. Why? For the pitiful sake of personal gain.

Thankfully, there's a way out. We might have to walk in the fog with the rest of them, but our wandering doesn't have to be aimless. No, if we truly want an everlasting love and the free gift of salvation offered us through the blood of the ultimate sacrifice, all we have to do is stretch out our hand. God will take hold and lead us on. We cannot see His hand waiting. We cann't see the future He has laid out for us. But just reach. If you can take a step in the fog without knowing where your foot will land, why can't you hold out your hand to the unknown, which will soon be known?
