Taking it Easy

After our most recent concert, we had a band meeting and again talked about the future. We decided that for the time being, we are content with local gigs and playing things by ear. Cryptic may or may not see the road again, but if we do, you'll be the first to know. In the meantime, if you're in the area, we're still playing small shows. And if you want us to come to your event, give us a ring.

Break

Thanks to those who attended our recent concert in Crestview. We thought it was a blast and it looks like everyone else did too. We're taking a break over the holiday season, but don't worry - we'll be back again. Keep your eyes open.

Spring

It's springtime, and you know what that means - an all-new local lineup. Yeah, we're gonna focus on our hometown and surrounding area this year. We just love it too much to hit the road again. And her's the best part - Logan is back! After taking a break, his voice is better than ever and he's taking the spotlight with lead vocals once again.

Still Going

Thanks to everyone who’s been following our music. We’ve been loving every minute of it, taking it easy in our hometown area. Though we’re still taking things slow, we just can’t stay off the stage.

While we are still seeking out a permanent lead singer, between Rocky and Taylor, the position is being taken over. Rocky may not have wanted that spotlight, but between us and you fans who have showed your like for his voice, he may be up for the job. Keep watching.

We’ll be at the entertainment center in Burton in two weeks along with a couple other bands, so get your tickets quick – they’re going fast!

Shaky Times

Kyle Mitts of JetStream has taken on a new adventure, and in doing so, has turned down our offer for lead vocalist. Rocky is the next man up, though we continue to try and make the best decisions for the band.

A note to those who may have heard some unpleasant rumors about Cryptic band members:
Please do not feed these rumors and the gossip that has been born. If you have any questions, please contact us and we will be more than happy to share facts with you.

We are in shaky times. Pray that we, as a band and as a Christian family, will have wisdom and a clear path to follow.

The Latest

Upcoming: Mid-winter Rock. The spotlight is turning on, and we're up. Tickets available now.

The latest news in the band is that Logan has pulled out for an unknown amount of time. It was the doctor's suggestion in order to save his vocal cords. He'll still be around and involved, but for now, he'll be offstage. We've asked Kyle Mitts to step in for him, but have yet to know if he'll be joining us or not. Prayers would be appreciated as these kinds of decisions are made.

Either way, we'll be at our next event with a great voice behind the mic, whether it's Kyle or Rocky.
